Bernhard (Bernie) Dueck grew up on a farm near a small town in rural Manitoba. In 1982, he earned a B.A. (Honours) in Economics from the University of Manitoba, following by his LL.B. in 1986.
He was called to the bar by the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1988 and moved to
Ottawa that year. Two years later, he started his own law practice.
In 30 years as a lawyer, Bernie has helped people through major transitions, which are often the most stressful times of one’s life. Many of those clients have returned over the years as their lives progressed and they required additional legal services.
Today, his three decades of legal experience means that clients are in good hands. His client-centred approach takes the stress out of their legal matters and ensures greater peace of mind.

In his spare time, you’ll find him at most RedBlacks games or on the ice at the Ottawa Curling Club. (He’s especially proud that in 2012, his curling team won the Caledonia Cup, a competition between Ottawa Valley Curling Association and Curling Quebec.)
